The challenge
Holding the attention of a four-to-eight-year-old is hard enough; doing it while teaching them something is harder still. Edu Books wanted a learning app that felt like play, kept young children genuinely engaged, and ran identically on both Android and iOS so no family was left out.
Two constraints shaped everything. The content had to be age-appropriate and genuinely educational, not filler dressed up as a game. And because the users are small children, the environment had to be safe, ad-free and fully under a parent’s control.
Our approach
We built the experience around interactive animations, bright child-friendly design and game-based learning that ramps in difficulty at the child’s own pace, so lessons stay rewarding rather than frustrating. The app ships as a single consistent experience across iOS and Android, with educational material shaped in consultation with subject experts.
Safety sits underneath all of it. The app runs ad-free, protects children’s data, and hands parents real control: tracking progress, setting learning goals and managing screen time. The combination keeps children learning longer while giving parents the confidence to hand over the device.
