1. Who we are

The Color Picker App (the App) is published by Multicore Technologies, a sole proprietorship based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (we, "us", "our"). This policy explains what the App does with your data. It applies to the Color Picker App for iPhone (App Store id 1534432619). 2. At a glance

Colours are processed on your device.
Your photos never leave your phone.
The only thing sent to a server is the text you type into the AI Palette Generator.
We do not collect personal data, and there are no user accounts.
Apple handles all payments. We never see your card or billing details.

3. Data we process, feature by feature

Camera (live capture): when you point your camera at a colour, the App reads that colour on your device in real time. Frames are not stored and are not transmitted.
Photo library (gallery extraction): the App requests access to a photo only when you choose one. The image is analysed on your device to extract its colours, and it is not uploaded.
AR try-on: camera processing happens on your device. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
AI Palette Generator: when you generate a palette from a text description, only that text is sent to our AI service provider to produce suggestions. The text is not linked to your identity. It is not used to train models unless the provider states otherwise.
Saved palettes: stored locally on your device.
Subscriptions: handled by Apple. We receive only an anonymised transaction status, such as whether a subscription is active. We never receive your payment details.

4. What we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect an account, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or location. We do not use advertising identifiers. No third-party analytics or advertising software is built into the App.

5. Data retention and deletion

Because the App keeps your data on your device, that data lives only on your device. You can remove saved palettes in the App. Deleting the App removes its local data from your device.

6. Children

The App is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Because the App does not collect personal data at all, this holds for every user.

7. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR)

For users in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights over your personal data. For users in the EU, the UK and elsewhere, the GDPR and similar laws give comparable rights, including access, correction, erasure, and the right to complain to a regulator. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most of these requests are satisfied by design: there is nothing on our servers to show, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will help.

8. Third parties

Apple: provides the App Store and processes all payments and subscriptions. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Our AI service provider: receives only the text prompt you enter into the AI Palette Generator, solely to generate palette suggestions. It receives no personal identifiers from us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change this page and revise the effective date shown at the top.
