Requirement Gathering
The first step is to gather the primary requriments. You'll need to provide us with a good laid out requirement document about your project. We'll look for specifications, wireframes, what kind of tech you are looking to have app developed in and other info. Ofcourse while we can also help you identify your needs, we won't be able to write it down for you.
Analysis and Feasibility
Once we receive requirements from you, we initiate feasibility and analysis study of your project. We'll have in-depth discussion with you to completely understand needs and expectations about the project and spec out the project deliverables.
Estimations
Once the deliverables are agreed upon, we'll do a detailed time and cost evaluation and provide you with estimates about project cost and delivery timeline. Once this is agreed upon we'll sign the contract to start the project.
Design
Wire-framing and Prototyping
Once the requirements are decided, we create wireframes / prototypes of the app. It can be low or high fidelity wireframes based on the scope of the project. These are built with keeping each element and feature of the app in mind with in-depth discussion with you.
Design concepts
Once the wireframes are approved , we start working on actual design concepts. These will be real designs on how the app would look. We provide couple of concepts for designs with different layouts or colors themes etc...
Review and Approvals
At this stage the designs and the final scope of the project is discussed and reviewed to iron out any changes or updates to be done. Post that the final designs and scope of project are approved by you. This will also include decisions about allocation of resources as required for your project.
Develop
Development
With everything in place, the development teams will start the development work on your app. It includes sub-stages such as front-end development, Back-end development, Database designing and architecture etc... This will progress based on agreed delivery milestones.
Testing and QA
Once the development reaches initial milestones, the QA team will start with day-to-day manual and automated testing. This will cover all the aspect of the app development such as regression testing, unit testing, system testing etc... Most of the bugs are smashed out here.
Fixes and Updates
As the development progresses, the bugs which are identifed are fixed and any new updates as required are included in the code. The Dev teams and QA are constantly aligned to make sure nothing is missed out. All the while you'll be involved in the process and we'll provide you with intermediate app builds and updates on staging / beta sites.
Deploy
Deployment on App Stores / Servers
Post the user acceptance test in previous step and sign-off, the App is deployed on respective App Stores and / or on the servers. This is the Go Live Stage.
Post Deployment Testing
After the successful deployment, all the parameters are tested on the production environment. If there are any bugs or issues they are quickly fixed and redeployed.
After Sales Support
On the final sign-off, we handover the source code and necessary material to you. We then go into after sales support phase where we maintain and support required updates to the apps. This usually includes minor modifications or updates but exclude any new development. This stage is covered under project contract.
